Dear Fellow Members:

I know in our business you have to grab the handle while hot when it comes to work during the winter months. To help those members that were planning to enroll in a Winter Journeyman course this winter we have listed two tentative start dates to choose from. Please review the course offerings and tell us if you wish to start in January, 2008 or in September, 2008. Most certification courses offered run one night a week for 12 weeks and require a minimum of 10 students enrolled to start.

Once again I would like to thank all our members who continue to use our training facilities and make the time to update their skill sets allowing our contractors to be more competitive in our industry.

Fraternally yours,

James B. Kehoe
Business Manager

Being able to offer advanced training to our members at the Local Union 322 Training Center that meets or exceeds industry standards is as always a top priority of Local 322's leadership and members alike.

It is satisfying to see that so many of our members are taking advantage of the Local Union 322’s Journeymen Training Program. The time and hard work that you invest to keep your skills up to date is the key that provides our contractors with second-to-none top notch skills and the competitive edge and that helps secure and preserve our market share of work.

As you look over the Journeymen Course selections being offered this fall at our Training Center, you will notice that we are also looking ahead to the Plumbing Code changes that are likely to take place in 2007.

We also have partnered with 3 area colleges that are offering Construction Management and Supervision Related Degree Programs and will give college credits for apprenticeship time completed. Please make your selections and register by calling Local 322 at 609-567-3322, option 4. Since many of these courses fill up quickly, you will want to call as soon as possible. If a class has been filled, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified when the next opening is available.
